Established in 1983 as a top breeding facility for the small breeder, the Station provides a professional staff to handle all aspects of the breeding operation - excellent mare care, stallion collection, cooled semen transportation sending and receiving, live cover for Thoroughbreds, and artificial insemination for other breeds to provide the maximum safety for the mare and the stallion.
Mare motels, paddocks and box stalls are available for the visiting mare. Video equipped foaling stalls and FOALALERT are available for foaling mares. Large 12' X 15' stalls with lights, automatic fly control, and daily turnout in individual exercise paddocks are available for stallions.
Rates for mares $12.00 per day and $15.00 per day with foal for the paddocks and pasture. Box stalls are $20.00 per day and $25.00 with foal. Mares in stalls are groomed and turned out.
The Station is a "mare station" for receiving cooled semen shipped from all over the United States. Stallions are taught to use the phantom so semen can be collected for insemination or shipment. Printed rate sheets are available.
The station is operated by owner, Ann Taylor, a lifelong horsewoman and 4th generation Morgan breeder. Ann is an accomplished horse show judge, amateur exhibitor, and Morgan breeder who has won achievement awards for the consistent quality of stock she produces. Her breeding activities, however are not limited to Morgans. Her program produces quality horses of other breeds.
Horse breeding services focus on the small breeder. A diverse group of stallions stand at the Station, including stallions who sire show, working and performance horses.
